To meet this moment, the Novartis U.S. Foundation is launching the Beacon of Hope Pathways to Clinical Research Careers (BOH Pathways), a fully funded fellowship for students of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). The purpose of BOH Pathways is to:

• Raise awareness of clinical research careers among current college students 
• Make entry into clinical research pathways more accessible via industry recognized training and professional networking experiences
• Increase representation of traditionally underrepresented groups in clinical research jobs through partnerships with HBCUs

Fellowship

The BOH Pathways professional fellowship consists of three core elements:

1. Quality Training: Fellows will complete the Early Talent Training Program delivered by ACRP, the leading association for clinical research professionals.
2. Experiential Learning: Fellows will have the opportunity to develop practical skills through hands-on learning and site visits to leading industry organizations.
3. Network Building: Fellows will have the opportunity to engage with peers, professionals, and potential employers at the annual ACRP Conference.
